Dwarf Yellow Tip Hermit Crab - Clibanarius sp.

Diet:
Herbivore. Grazes on naturally occurring algae, biofilm, and detritus. Supplement with dried seaweed or reef flakes if natural algae is limited.

Minimum Tank Size:
A well established system with plenty of live rock and surface area for grazing. Suitable for nano and larger tanks.

Notes:
Small size and equal sized claws allow this crab to forage even in tight crevices and around live rock. Providing extra empty shells of various sizes helps accommodate growth and reduces stress. Ideal in aquariums with sand substrate where it can dig and help aerate the substrate.
